Charlee Loyst is a 22 year old pianist from St. Pete Beach, FL. After starting his piano journey at the age of 3, he was classically trained for 13 years and began studying jazz in high school. He has since earned a B.M. in Performance from the Berklee College of Music where he studied with esteemed piano faculty, notably Hey-Rim Jeon and Yoko Miwa, and in the Global Jazz Institute with artists including Danilo Perez, John Patitucci, Joe Lovano, and Nicholas Payton.
Loyst has performed around the country with many artists. Recently he performed at Dizzy's Club (NYC) with Etienne Charles, the Arsht Center (Miami) with Jason Moran, and with Christian McBride at the JAS Festival (Jazz Aspen Snowmass)
Currently, Loyst is based in Miami where he is earning his M.M. at the Frost School of Music (University of Miami).
